Israelita 3.0: fundamentals, processes, and guidelines of pedagogical innovation

Colégio Israelita Brasileiro, Porto Alegre, Brazil

Israelita has directed its researches towards a new pedagogical architecture. Why? Because our community and staff aim to build a better place to learn, connected to the world of the 21st century. To remain relevant we need to be disruptive and head for an Education 3.0. Within this context, the innovation perspective becomes part of the processes of our institution, in a disruptive and incremental way. Besides the redesign of the curricular organization of our school, Israelita 3.0 consists of resizing school spaces and time, focusing on the following propositions: full-time education, personalized teaching, qualification of proficiency in English, development of socio-emotional skills, interdisciplinarity, pluralist Judaism, active learning, entrepreneurship, efficient use of information and communication technologies, and emphasis on procedural skills.
Have you ever imagined the school of the future? Since 2008, Israelita has directed its researches towards a new pedagogical architecture. Why? In this year of 2017, our institution turns 95 years-old, but to remain relevant we need to be disruptive and head for an Education 3.0.
